14 shawls, 11 hats, 9 “Night Night” Totes (blanket, toy, newborn clothing in a sewn tote bag), 5 scarves, 2 lap throws and 6 misc. knitted items were donated to Hospice, Shands’ Pediatrics, the Comfort Program, and Yarnworks Shop (who distributes to several charities) for a grand total of 50 this year. Special thanks to Lucy T., Nina G., and Iona M. for their donations of yarns and supplies that helped make this possible.
In a side note, there are pet items available. I have not searched for a pet rescue (dog/cat) yet to receive these, so if you know of one locally that you would like to be contacted, please let me know.
